2025 has been dominated by hybrid footwear—sneaker-loafer crossovers that blur the lines between casual and formal. While still divisive, the trend has established itself as one of the year’s defining styles, embraced by fashion-forward brands across the spectrum.
Now, Crocs joins the conversation with the launch of the EXP Gallery Shoe, set to release at the end of September. The design pays homage to the brand’s 2012 Tideline Sport loafer, reimagined with a contemporary twist and a stronger fashion sensibility.
The Gallery Shoe combines rugged and refined details. Its hairy suede upper channels classic loafer vibes while lace closures add an extra nod to traditional footwear. Underneath, an outdoor-ready sole delivers durability and structure. The result is a shoe that feels both stylish and practical—a perfect example of hard meets soft.
Debuting in two versatile colorways—“Bark” and “Black Sand”—the shoe leans into timeless neutral tones that integrate easily into any wardrobe. Branding remains subtle, with only a small Crocs wordmark engraved at the sole, keeping the look clean and understated.
The Crocs EXP Gallery Shoe will launch on September 30 via Crocs and select retailers, including Asphaltgold, with a starting price of €99 EUR (approx. $116 USD). More iterations of the model are expected to follow, continuing the line’s experimental spirit.
