However extraordinary its talent or deep its determination, a crew can only claim victory if it has a great boat in which to compete. Equally, the America’s Cup – sailing’s supreme trophy – merits a peerless vehicle in which to be transported to the arms of those who have battled so long to win it. 

Louis Vuitton has equipped the America’s Cup with its bespoke travel case for the 35th competition of the oldest international sporting competition in the world. Handmade by three craftsmen in the historical workshop of the house in Asnières, France. Louis Vuitton America’s Cup travel case is the result of over 400 hours of craftwork, during seven steps of fabrication.

The new travel case for the America's Cup trophy features several upgrades. It includes a removable briefcase in which the winner’s medals are held, a new door system, a new arrangement of fittings to hold the trophy securely during its travels, and a new microfiber lining to minimize any possibility of wear to the precious cargo it holds. Whoever does ultimately triumph in Bermuda - Challenger or Defender - will take their place in history as they take possession of the Cup.

Leather goods come in a wide range, rich in choice and created for a travelling man. Louis Vuitton’s new Damier Cobalt Regatta is found on iconic bags such as the Keepall and the Steamer.
