References to different times in history and its main players – heroes, warriors, villains and revolutionaries – are mixed up almost irrationally in looks achieved through combining countless materials, which also represent different periods.

 

 

The individual pieces, like the cape, the Hawaiian shirt and the sailor hat, to mention only a few, are like flashes from the past and, combined with one another, generate an idea of strongly contemporary fashion.

 

 

Of particular importance are the prints by artist Christophe Chemin, which, coherently with the thought at the basis of the collection, sum up in “romantic paintings” similar research work on various historical periods mixed up with one another.

 

 

 

The room where the show is held symbolizes the “piazza”, an emblem of gatherings and the public place par excellence where the most important ceremonies in history have always taken and still take place.

 

 

The individual is in the centre, given value by the depth of the reflection.
