In the world of Emporio Armani, style, the individual character and the city all converse, exploring new balances. This season the sense of urban dynamism dissolves into an indescribable, contemporary lightness; into an idea of ethereal, unpredictable elegance.

The feather-light materials are almost impalpable. The fresh, neutral hues range from beige, grey and almond finding their purest expression in shades of white and light blue. Both personal and sharp, the men’s and women’s wardrobes reflect each other, developing similar expressions of style and creating a dialogue that shares the same tone without shapes overlapping. They both strive to achieve near-weightlessness, which dematerialises and illuminates even the colour black.

The interplay of counterpoints and interweaving places the focus on textured, tactile surfaces while enhancing the barely-there colours through materials.

The women’s silhouette is slender and impalpable, with natural small shoulders and fluid shapes held together by knots that add more movement. Short jackets, relaxed trousers, cropped blousons, parkas, dusters, and mini-dresses that barely skim the body and set it free, crop tops and jumpsuits are all elements of a sleek and easy style, to be interpreted individually. The evening wardrobe turns dark, mysterious and luminescent, with a multitude of dévoré shapes that delicately shake up the textures. Stylish heeled sandals, suede moccasins, micro bags, backpacks, and shopper bags with macro-weaving round out the accessories.

For men, proportions have been updated: completely stripped of lining, jackets become longer, following the bust, free of lapels, like a cardigan, or with stand-up collars, leaving them sharp but never sagging. They are paired with full trousers and gilets worn on bare skin and reclaiming a new, more visible role.

The more athletic shapes, such as suede windbreakers and bomber jackets, are treated in a formal manner. The suits and overcoats are fluid, or textured with laser-work, architectural dévoré effects, or embroideries on mesh that sparkle at night. Moccasins, sabots and woven espadrilles complete the footwear range.
