Master of a clean contemporary aesthetic, the house of Calvin Klein is the epitome of timeless sartorial elegance updated with cutting-edge detailing. For Spring-Summer 2022, the men’s wear collection is made up of three different style narratives, all coming together in a soothing palette of neutrals such as taupe, greige and monochromes like navy, dusty orange and pale lemon. 

 

 

Tradition With A Contemporary Twist

Modern elevated essentials are inspired by taking elements of ordinary pieces and playing around with them. A military jacket is re-born as a tailored version with pocket and lined with orange mesh. Practical details such as pockets are given a modern spin as nylon patch pockets with logo tape, making it a look that blends function seamlessly with design. 

Americana reinterpreted. Classic staples like baseball-inspired pieces are updated by mixing knit and woven fabrics to create casual and sporty clothes with a relaxed and easy fit. 

Formal workwear essentials are transformed into smart and casual ensembles thanks to the focus on lightness and comfort. This is achieved through fabrics like Oxford shirting and fine grain stretch cotton to provide the modern working man with ease of movement.

 

 

Material World

High quality Nappa leather with a superluxe hand-feel in classic slim fit and hooded silhouettes lend a refined and sophisticated touch to Spring-Summer.     

 A cotton-linen blend made in Italy, this season’s lightweight summer tweed - also in the womenswear collection - gives the pieces a textured structure with a salt-and-pepper effect. The result is a relaxed insouciant summer vibe.  

The linen capsule uses classic linen that is fused with Sarona nylon, a durable and strong fabric often employed in activewear. Lightweight, breathable and stain-resistant.

 

 

Graphic Prints

This season, an array of prints and patterns found its way into the collection. From a marble crack print to wave and sun graphics, abstract logos inspired by typography and square prints gleaned from American painters, these cool and edgy styles shift the collection towards more adventurous experimentations.
